Bring It To The Streets

"Renting a bus and packing it full of hungry skaters is a good idea, but taking them all over the Greater Vancouver area to skate the cities finest spots with 1000$ to give away is pretty special. We packed 30 skaters and some photographers, filmers and other lurkers in and definitely brought it to the streets. Richmond Bump was the first spot, which lead us to the Richmond banks- also the perfect Marine Drive manual pad. We spent 30 minutes at each spot, so it gave everyone enough time to try and make those pockets a little fatter. From Richmond, B.C, we headed back into the Downtown Core for some perfect Sunday Spots. The rain crept in at Scotia Bank ledge and so we headed up to the Art Gallery for the final spot/money give away. I don't know what was better though- watching them skate the 8 set in the rain or the monster chugging/puking/whipping war. MVP awards to Boyd Young, Spencer Hamilton, Mike aka Hashbrown, Jordan Murray, Stacey Gabriel and Desmond Hoostie. I think everyone walked away with some money though.
