Art for wear

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (October 23, 2009) – One way to show art to those who will never go to a gallery or flip through skate magazines is to wear it! etnies is proud to debut the Holiday 09 Artist Tees featuring the artwork of world renowned artist Dave Kinsey and brilliant photographer Oliver Barton on tee shirts. Wear these moving art shows wherever you go and expose Kinsey and Barton’s work to cops chasing you, liquor store clerks, commuters on the subway and bus, bartenders, teachers, friends and anybody else who crosses your path.

Dave Kinsey said his goal is “to expose as many people to art as possible and to honor the power art has when it’s created and accepted.” HERE is some video footy
of Kinsey explaining how through a range of mediums, he constructs multi-layered, textured environments easily likened to the complexities of contemporary life.
