new RVCA installation

Christopher Bettig recently put up a new installation at the RVCA in San Francisco, consisting of all kinds of woods and rope. I love that Chris can take the most ramshackle of materials and make something beautiful out of them. It looks almost like a bunch of hippies took too much peyote and decided to make a structure out of everything they could find. There’s honesty to his work, it’s an expression of his abstract mind. I think it’s also worth mentioning that Chris has a day job at Google, and I’m sure it was good for him to make something physical again. If you’re in SF you should stop by and check it out.
