Jake Marshall wins event #1 of Rip Curl GromSearch

The 1st event of the Rip Curl GromSearch went down this last weekend in super fun and contestable Huntington Beach conditions. The event was dominated by 2 young lads, Kanoa Igarashi and Dragon's own Jake Marshall. Jake took first in the Boys 12/u division, as well as 3rd in the Boys 14/u. These 2 results solidified his birth into the National Championships in Ocean Beach, San Fransisco, later in the year. Jake also walked away with 'Maneuver of the Event' and went home an extra $100 richer. The 'Dragon High Heat' total was awarded to Griffin Colapinto who posted the highest heat of the event, 17.7 out of possible 20 points in round 2 of the 12/u division.
