The Australian native and 23-year-old goofy-footer knows how to keep things interesting while touring the world and documenting his “badass” life on his blog out2brunch.com. Wilko’s next event will be on his home turf at the Australian Open of Surfing in February.
"Wilko is an incredible talent," said Mike Regan, Global Brand Director. “He's the perfect fit for etnies. His style and personality align well with our brand. We’re very happy to have him and can’t wait to see him surf the 2012 ASP World Tour.” See the welcome video http://etnies.com/blog/2012/1/26/wilko-lands-on-etnies/?region=us+active®ion_save=Confirm! .
ThirtyTwo added TM-Two wearin’ regular footer, Scott Stevens to its outerwear team for 2012! After growing up in Westfield, Massachusetts, Scott is a full-fledged masshole and he has collected a lot of nicknames over the years including Atcha Boii, Doug Floutie, Steamy and Sleepy. Scott is reppin’ his new signature ThirtyTwo gear: the khaki colorway of the ThirtyTwo Venice jacket, black Wooderson pant and black/yellow TM-Two colorway.
On top of his parts in Think Thank’s Left Brain Right Brain and Capita’s Defenders of Awesome, his frequent web video clips show that Scott is one of the hardest working pro snowboarders in the game. If you haven’t seen his X Games Real Snow part yet, check it out here: Real Snow.
Scott is a staple at High Cascade Snowboard Camp (HCSC) where he has worked for more than seven years. He is consistently one of HCSC’s most requested coaches and heaviest hitters in session video edits. Of course he also has the best full-time job in the world, and rides forThirtyTwo, etnies, Capita, Union, Dakine, Smith, Magical Go-Go, Coal, Theory Skate Shop and Skull Candy.
Rad Collector posted a piece on ThirtyTwo Boot Camp X today, and you can check it out at this link http://www.radcollector.com/news/2012/01/25/radcollector-exclusive-thirtytwo-boot-camp-x/.
RVCA’s ongoing The Artist Network Program, otherwise referred to simply as “ANP,” exists to provide a platform to showcase the work of both up-and-coming and seasoned artists alike. The latest collaborative piece combines the creative vision and talents of Benjamin Jeanjean, Sew ‘n Sing, and Blend Glassing. Dragon today announced that the newly released, revolutionary APX Goggle has received approval on two key U.S. Patents for innovative design. The patents cover the APX's unique frameless goggle design and the Infinity Lens Technology which offers easy lens interchangeability and performance. The APX Goggle was introduced into the snow market this winter and has had an overwhelmingly positive response from the consumers and retailers.
"The APX Goggle, with its innovative lens design, has been a great addition to the Dragon family of goggles," explains Dragon Founder and CEO Will Howard. "Its design is technically advanced, and has a distinct look that sets it apart. The U.S. Patents protect the design and creates a platform from which Dragon can evolve this 'ease of use' lens system."
The U.S. Patents # D653686 and #D653695 are for the APX Goggle design features, the specific Infinity Lens Technology and bracket system which attaches the lens to the base of the goggle and makes swapping out lenses easy and quick. The APX is the first and only fully frameless goggle in the snow market providing the greatest peripheral vision in its class. The lens-to-goggle interface is the most dynamic, easy to use interface in the market all while withstanding the most difficult conditions the mountains have to offer.
